Espumisan is a medicine that effectively removes the feeling of pressure in the abdomen, the feeling of fullness and flatulence. Espumisan can be used for a long time, has no effect on digestion, is easy to swallow without drinking and is safe for pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Active substance
Simeticonum
All medical conditions accompanied by accumulation of gases in the digestive tract; manifesting as bloating, bloated abdomen, feeling of pressure and fullness in the abdomen; excessive swallowing of air. Espumisan contains a pharmacologically active substance – simethicone (polydimethylsiloxane), which is stable and reduces surface tension. Simethicone impairs the surface tension of gas bubbles contained in food and mucus in the digestive tract. These bubbles break with a change in surface tension, releasing gas that can be absorbed through the wall of the digestive tract, or eliminated by propulsion from the digestive tract.
Dosage
Usually chew 1-2 capsules 3-4 times a day with or after food or 1-2 capsules before bed
Symptoms: Flatulence
It is used for increased gas production after operations and for preparation before X-ray examination in the abdomen.
The product is suitable for diabetics because it contains an artificial sweetener. In case of overdose or accidental ingestion by a child, consult a doctor.
Contraindication
It must not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.

Všechny chorobné stavy provázené hromaděním plynů v zažívacím traktu; projevující se jako nadýmání, vzedmuté břicho, pocit tlaku a plnosti v nadbřišku; nadměrné polykání vzduchu. Espumisan obsahuje farmakologicky aktivní látku – simethicon (polydimethylsiloxan), která je stabilní a snižuje povrchové napětí. Simethicon narušuje povrchové napětí plynových bublinek obsažených v potravě a hlenu zažívacího traktu. Tyto bublinky se změnou povrchového napětí porušují, uvolňuje se z nich plyn, který se může absorbovat stěnou zažívací trubice, nebo je eliminován propulsi ze zažívacího traktu.
Dávkování
Obvykle 1-2 kapsle 3-4krát denně rozžvýkat při jídle nebo po něm případně ještě 1-2 kapsle před spaním
Příznaky: Nadýmání
Používá se při zvýšené tvorbě plynů po operacích a k přípravě před rentgenologickým vyšetřením v oblasti břicha.
Přípravek je vhodný pro diabetiky, protože obsahuje umělé sladidlo. Při předávkování nebo náhodném požití přípravku dítětem se poraďte s lékařem.
Kontraindikace
Přípravek nesmí používat nemocní se známou přecitlivělostí na některou z jeho složek.
