Enema, rectal solution, 150 ml

Enema is a medicinal product in the form of a rectal infusion solution that cleans the colon. Enema is used, among other things, for colon cleansing before diagnostic tests and before and after surgery or childbirth, as well as in constipation. The drug can be used in adults and children over 5 years of age.
The active substances are: disodium phosphate dodecahydrate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate (Dinatriiphosphas dodecahydricus, Natrii dihydrogenophosphas monohydricus).
1 ml of the solution contains 32.2 mg of disodium phosphate and 139 mg of sodium dihydrogen phosphate, calculated as anhydrous substances.
Excipients: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water.

Enema’s solution should be administered only in the form of a rectal enema, by applying the appropriate volume of the solution in the evening the preceding day and also on the day of the examination or surgery.
The solution inserted into the rectum should be at room temperature.
Additional fluids should be taken by mouth after using Enema.
Laxatives can be used for no more than 1 week.

Enema to produkt leczniczy w postaci roztworu do wlewu doodbytniczego, który oczyszcza jelito grube. Enema stosuje się między innymi przy oczyszczaniu jelita grubego przed badaniami diagnostycznymi oraz przed i po zabiegach operacyjnych lub porodzie a także w zaparciach. Lek można stosować u dorosłych oraz dzieci w wieku powyżej 5 lat.
Substancjami czynnymi leku są: disodu fosforan dwunastowodny i sodu diwodorofosforan jednowodny (Dinatriiphosphas dodecahydricus, Natrii dihydrogenophosphas monohydricus).
1 ml roztworu zawiera 32,2 mg disodu fosforanu i 139 mg sodu diwodorofosforanu, w przeliczeniu na substancje bezwodne.
Substancje pomocnicze: metylu parahydroksybenzoesan, woda oczyszczona.
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Roztwór Enema należy podawać tylko w postaci wlewu doodbytniczego, aplikując odpowiednią objętość roztworu wieczorem w dniu poprzedzającym a także w dniu wykonania badania bądź zabiegu.
Roztwór wprowadzany do odbytnicy powinien być w temperaturze pokojowej.
Po zastosowaniu leku Enema należy przyjmować doustnie dodatkowe płyny.
Środki przeczyszczające można stosować nie dłużej niż 1 tydzień.
