DISTRIBUTED REASON, ROZŠTĚPENÝ ROZUM, IGOR KRONNYJ

Igor Kronny is one of the most famous Russian writers now published in the Czech Republic. Critics criticized him after the publication of a collection of short stories Alphabet Bourgeois. They bought a humorous prose as a sniper, or on a visit to the father of Machnov, who bought a foreign brand, etc. Igor Kronný’s new book The Split Mind answers almost all questions of life. It can be boldly called the most drastic book about the difficult post-reconstruction period and the people living and fighting for their simple human happiness in Russia and abroad. The creative element of Kronný is the irony and subtlety of the style, the unpredictability of the theme and the special connection between the psychologization of the characters and the grotesqueness. If the reader opens his book, he will not fall asleep unless he touches it.
