CROWN OF THORNS, TRNOVA KORUNA, Miroslav Balousek

During the two days of August 1944, the Klatovy Gestapo arrested most members of the Písek uniformed police for listening to foreign radio and subsequently disseminating the findings. The author describes the background of the whole case and especially the fate of one of the members of the then police force of the town of Písek, Jiří Zborník, who was sentenced to death.
