This toothpaste exists in the form of paste and gel. In addition to the usual components of a toothpaste, it contains fluoride in large quantities; this substance enhances the action of brushing on the teeth. Fluoride is incorporated little into the enamel and fights fermentation in dental plaque; it thus protects the teeth from enzymes and acids secreted by bacteria.
It is used in the preventive treatment of tooth decay.
