Contraindication
The product must not be used for: hypersensitivity to iodine or to any of the excipients. substances, some diseases of the thyroid gland, skin inflammation.
Betadine surgical solution must not be combined with other mercury-containing disinfectants. Mercury reacts with the iodine in the product to form mercuric iodide, which is highly corrosive.

Přípravek je také určen k léčení bakteriálních a plísňových onemocnění
Kontraindikace
Přípravek se nesmí používat při: přecitlivělosti na jód a nebo na některou z pom. látek, některé onemocnění štítné žlázy, zánětu kůže.
Chirurgický roztok Betadine se nesmí kombinovat současně s jinými dezinfekčními přípravky obsahující rtuť. Rtuť reaguje s jódem obsaženým v přípravku na jodid rtuťnatý, který je silně leptavý.
