What AZELSAN is and what it is used for
AZELSAN contains azelastine, which belongs to a group of medicines that prevent the effects of histamine (antihistamines), which usually manifests itself by causing colds, sneezing, itching or a stuffy nose. AZELSAN is used to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis and acute exacerbations (seizures) of year-round allergic rhinitis. AZELSAN nasal spray is intended for adults, adolescents and children older than 6 years. If you do not feel better within 1 week or if you become overweight, you must consult a doctor

2. What you need to know before you use AZELSAN

Do not use AZELSAN: – if you are allergic to azelastine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6). Warnings and precautions Use the spray with the head upright. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using AZELSAN.

Children and adolescents

Very rarely, tiredness, exhaustion, dizziness or weakness may occur due to the condition itself or when using Azelastine nasal spray. In these cases, do not drive or use machines. Please be aware that drinking alcohol or taking other medicines may increase these effects.
