ASA is one of the so-called non-opioid pain relievers and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. What they have in common is that they inhibit the formation of prostaglandins (certain messenger substances). In this way, both the transmission and perception of pain in the brain and inflammation are inhibited – and the pain subsides. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink the entire glass. Children between 9 and 12 years take one effervescent tablet each (max. 3 daily), adults take 1-2 effervescent tablets each (max. 3-6 daily). To avoid overdosing, this indicated dose should not be exceeded.
