AmbroHEXAL S cough syrup 30mg / 5ml, 250 ml

Recommended use of AmbroHEXAL S cough syrup 30mg / 5ml (pack size: 250 ml):

The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the medicine differently. Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise the drug cannot work properly. If you are not sure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Children up to 2 years
take 1/4 measuring spoon twice daily with 1.25 ml solution (equivalent to 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Children from 2 to 5 years
take 1/4 measuring spoon 3 times a day with 1.25 ml solution (equivalent to 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Children from 6 to 12 years
take 1/2 measuring spoon with 2.5 ml solution 2-3 times a day (equivalent to 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Adolescents from 12 years and adults
take 1 measuring spoon with 5 ml solution (equivalent to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day) 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, then 1 measuring spoon twice a day with 5 ml solution (equivalent to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).

An appropriately marked measuring cup is included in the pack for measuring the dose. Take the juice after meals using the measuring cup.

1 measuring spoon (equivalent to 5 ml) contains 0.88 g sorbitol (a source for 0.22 g fructose), equivalent to approx. 0.07 bread units (BU).

Note – If you have impaired kidney function or severe liver disease, you must take the medicine longer or reduce the dose.

Die folgenden Angaben gelten, soweit Ihnen Ihr Arzt das Arzneimittel nicht anders verordnet hat. Bitte halten Sie sich an die Anwendungsvorschriften, da das Arzneimittel sonst nicht richtig wirken kann. Wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind, fragen Sie bitte bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach.

Kinder bis 2 Jahre
nehmen 2-mal täglich 1/4 Messlöffel mit 1,25 ml Lösung (entsprechend 15 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) ein.
Kinder von 2 bis 5 Jahren
nehmen 3-mal täglich 1/4 Messlöffel mit 1,25 ml Lösung (entsprechend 22,5 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) ein.
Kinder von 6 bis 12 Jahren
nehmen 2-3-mal täglich 1/2 Messlöffel mit 2,5 ml Lösung (entsprechend 30-45 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) ein.
Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren und Erwachsene
nehmen während der ersten 2-3 Tage 3-mal täglich 1 Messlöffel mit 5 ml Lösung (entsprechend 90 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) ein, danach 2-mal täglich 1 Messlöffel mit 5 ml Lösung (entsprechend 60 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).

Zum Abmessen der Dosis liegt der Packung ein entsprechend markierter Messbecher bei. Nehmen Sie den Saft nach den Mahlzeiten mit Hilfe des Messbechers ein.

1 Messlöffel (entsprechend 5 ml) enthält 0,88 g Sorbitol (eine Quelle für 0,22 g Fructose), entsprechend ca. 0,07 Broteinheiten (BE).

Hinweis – Wenn Sie an einer eingeschränkten Nierenfunktion oder einer schweren Lebererkrankung leiden, müssen Sie die Einnahmeabstände des Arzneimittels vergrößern oder die Dosis vermindern.
