For Kids
Recommended use of AmbroHEXAL S cough drops 15mg / ml (pack size: 100 ml):
Always take the preparation exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
Children up to 2 years:
Take 1/2 ml of solution twice a day, corresponding to 10 drops twice a day (equivalent to 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Children from 2 to 5 years:
Take 1/2 ml of solution 3 times a day, corresponding to 10 drops 3 times (corresponding to 22.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day)
Children from 6 to 12 years:
Take 1 ml of solution 2-3 times a day, corresponding to 20 drops 2-3 times (corresponding to 30-45 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).
Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
In the first 2-3 days, take 2 ml of solution 3 times a day, corresponding to 40 drops 3 times (corresponding to 90 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day), then 2 ml of solution twice daily, corresponding to 40 drops (corresponding to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride) / Day).
In the adult dosage, the effectiveness can be increased by administering 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride twice a day (corresponds to 120 mg ambroxol hydrochloride / day).

Nehmen Sie das Präparat immer genau nach der Anweisung ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind. Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die übliche Dosis:
Kinder bis 2 Jahre:
2 mal täglich je 1/2 ml Lösung, entsprechend 2 mal 10 Tropfen einnehmen (entsprechend 15 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).
Kinder von 2 bis 5 Jahren:
3 mal täglich je 1/2 ml Lösung, entsprechend 3 mal 10 Tropfen einnehmen (entsprechend 22,5 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag)
Kinder von 6 bis 12 Jahren:
2 -3 mal täglich je 1 ml Lösung, entsprechend 2 – 3mal 20 Tropfen einnehmen (entsprechend 30 – 45 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag).
Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren:
In den ersten 2 – 3 Tagen 3 mal täglich je 2 ml Lösung, entsprechend 3 mal 40 Tropfen (entsprechend 90 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) einnehmen, danach werden 2 mal täglich je 2 ml Lösung, entsprechend 2 mal 40 Tropfen (entsprechend 60 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) eingenommen.
Bei der Erwachsenendosierung ist eine Steigerung der Wirksamkeit gegebenenfalls durch die Gabe von 2 mal täglich 60mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid (entspricht 120 mg Ambroxolhydrochlorid/Tag) möglich.
