The need to constantly wear masks in public places makes many women refuse to use lipsticks. In the UK, their sales have collapsed by more than half, according to statistics.
An unexpected consequence of the total mask regime was the loss of the cosmetics industry. Meanwhile, it is logical to assume that if the entire face with the exception of the eyes needs to be constantly covered with a mask, then you should not spend a lot of time and money on makeup. And this is confirmed by statistics published by the British newspaper The Sunday Times. Sales of lipsticks in the Foggy Albion have collapsed by more than half in recent months.
Britons typically spent around £ 100 million a year on lipsticks, but sales dropped by 49% between August and October, according to research group NPD Group. Its analysts found a significant link between the mandatory mask regime and the collapse of the cosmetics industry. If a woman wears intense lipstick under a mask, soon enough its traces will be on the inner layer of the mask, and if the lipstick is constantly erased, then there is no sense in it at all.
But sales of eye makeup products jumped sharply. Today, women focus on this part of the face that remains visible to everyone. The number of requests to make-up artists who give advice on how to make your face more attractive if you constantly need to wear masks has also increased.
