What you need:
250 gr. shells;
3 l. water;
1 spoon of sugar.
Preparation:
Crush the shells.
Place water on the stove and bring to a boil.
Take any container that holds at least 3 liters and pour boiling water into it. Add shredded shells.
Add sugar if desired.
The drink is ready to drink!
The second option for making tea is to brew black or green tea and add crushed shells to it. It takes on a nutty flavor thanks to the oils it contains.
Application of macadamia shells
Macadamia shell tincture
The tincture is used externally for gout, arthritis and joint pain. It is better not to take the tincture inside – strong alcoholic beverages are not beneficial for the body.
To prepare the tincture, take 1 liter of any strong alcoholic drink and 10 halves of the shell. Mix and remove for 12 days in a dark room at room temperature.
For the best effect, the shells can be chopped in a blender or finely chopped.
Crafts from macadamia shells
Macadamia shells are similar to walnut shells, so in crafts you can combine the shells of these two nuts. Nutshells can also be used in pine cone crafts.
Another simple macadamia shell craft is a bus. You can mold from plasticine or cut out separate parts of the bus from cardboard and fasten them together. And make the wheels out of shells.
