Indications
Kagocel® is used in adults as a preventive and therapeutic agent for influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), and as a therapeutic agent for herpes.
Kagocel® is used in children aged 6 years and older as a preventive agent for influenza and other ARVI.
Kagocel® is used in children aged 3 years and older as a therapeutic agent for influenza and other ARVI.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity, pregnancy, age under 3 years, lactase deficiency, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Side effects
Allergic reactions may develop.
Interaction
Kagocel® combines well with other antiviral drugs, immunomodulators and antibiotics (additive effect).
How to take, course of administration and dosage
For oral use.
For the treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections, adults are prescribed 2 tablets of Kagocel 3 times a day in the first two days, and one tablet 3 times a day in the next two days. A total of 18 tablets per course, and the course duration is 4 days.
Prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections in adults is carried out in 7-day cycles: two days — 2 tablets once a day, a 5-day break, then repeat the cycle. The duration of the preventive course is from one week to several months.
For the treatment of herpes in adults, 2 tablets are prescribed 3 times a day for 5 days. A total of 30 tablets per course, and the course duration is 5 days.
For the treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections in children aged 3 to 6 years, children are prescribed 1 tablet of Kagocel 2 times a day in the first two days, and one tablet 1 time per day in the next two days. Противопоказания
Повышенная индивидуальная чувствительность, беременность, возраст до 3 лет, дефицит лактазы, непереносимость лактозы, глюкозо-галактозная мальабсорбция.
Побочные действия
Возможно развитие аллергических реакций.
Взаимодействие
Кагоцел® хорошо сочетается с другими противовирусными препаратами, иммуномодуляторами и антибиотиками (аддитивный эффект).
Как принимать, курс приема и дозировка
Для применения внутрь.
Для лечения гриппа и ОРВИ взрослым назначают в первые два дня — по 2 таблетки Кагоцела 3 раза в день, в последующие два дня — по одной таблетке 3 раза в день. Всего на курс — 18 таблеток, длительность курса — 4 дня.
