Nurofen has the ability to relieve symptoms such as pain, swelling, fever.
1 film-coated tablet contains:
active ingredient – ibuprofen 200 mg.
excipients: tablet core – sodium croscarmellose, sodium laurilsulfate, sodium citrate, stearic acid, collodal anhydrous silica; sugar coating – sodium carmellose, talc, spray-dried arabic gum, sucrose, titanium dioxide (E 171), Macrogol 6000; ink – Opacode S-1-8152 HV Black (black iron oxide (E 172), shellac, soy lecithin, DC 1510 antifoam) or black ink (shellac, black iron oxide (E172), propylene glycol).
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Children from 6 to 9 years (20 to 30 kg): 1 tablet of 200 mg. If necessary, 1 tablet every 6 hours. Do not exceed a dose of 3 tablets / day (600 mg).
Children from 9 to 12 years (30 to 40 kg): 1 tablet of 200 mg. If necessary, 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed the dose of 4 tablets / day (800 mg).
Adults and children over 12 years of age: initial dose – 2 tablets, then, if necessary, 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. The tablets should be washed down with water. Do not exceed the dose of 6 tablets a day.
There should be a four-hour break between doses. The drug should not be used in patients weighing less than 20 kg. In people with gastrointestinal complaints, it is recommended to take the drug with a meal.

1 tabletka powlekana zawiera :
substancję czynną – ibuprofen 200 mg.
substancje pomocnicze: rdzeń tabletki – kroskarmeloza sodowa, sodu laurylosiarczan, sodu cytrynian, kwas stearynowy, krzemionka koliodalna bezwodna’ otoczka cukrowa – karmeloza sodowa, talk, guma arabska suszona rozpyłowo, sacharoza, tytanu dwutlenek (E 171), Macrogol 6000; tusz – Opacode S-1-8152 HV Black ( czarny tlenek żelaza (E 172), szelak, lecytyna sojowa, środek przeciwpienny DC 1510) lub czarny tusz (szelak czarny tlenek żelaza (E172), glikol propylenowy).
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Dzieci od 6 do 9 lat (20 do 30 kg): 1 tabletka 200 mg. W razie potrzeby, 1 tabletka co 6 godzin. Nie należy przekraczać dawki 3 tabletki/dobę (600 mg).
Dzieci od 9 do 12 lat (30 do 40 kg): 1 tabletka 200 mg. W razie potrzeby, 1 tabletka co 4 do 6 godzin. Nie należy przekraczać dawki 4 tabletki/dobę (800 mg).
Dorośli i dzieci powyżej 12 lat: dawka początkowa – 2 tabletki, potem w razie potrzeby od 1 do 2 tabletek co 4 do 6 godzin. Tabletki należy popić wodą. Nie przekraczać dawki 6 tabletek na dobę.
Należy zachować czterogodzinną przerwę pomiędzy dawkami. Leku nie należy stosować u pacjentów o masie ciała poniżej 20 kg. U osób z dolegliwościami przewodu pokarmowego zaleca się przyjmowanie leku podczas posiłku.
