Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
Single dose:
Morning: 1 effervescent tablet corresponding to 65 mg ivy leaf dry extract
In the evening: 1/2 effervescent tablet corresponding to 32.5 mg ivy leaf dry extract
Total daily dose: 1 time 1 and 1 time 1/2 effervescent tablet, equivalent to 97.5 mg ivy leaf dry extract
Children from 6 to 12 years:
Single dose: 1/2 effervescent tablet corresponding to 32.5 mg ivy leaf dry extract
Total daily dose: 2 times 1/2 effervescent tablet corresponding to 65 mg ivy leaf dry extract

Duration of treatment
The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the clinical picture; however, it should be at least 1 week even with milder inflammation of the airways.
In the interests of sustainable treatment success, it is also advisable to continue treatment with the preparation for 2-3 days even after the symptoms have subsided.

If you take more than you should:
Do not take more of the drug per day than stated in the dosage instructions or prescribed by your doctor.
Consumption of significantly higher amounts (more than three times the daily dose) can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. In this case you should consult your doctor.

If you forget to take a dose:
Next time do not take a double dose, but continue taking as prescribed by your doctor or as described in the package insert.

Dauer der Behandlung
Die Behandlungsdauer richtet sich jeweils nach der Art und Schwere des Krankheitsbildes; sie sollte jedoch auch bei leichteren Entzündungen der Atemwege mindestens 1 Woche betragen.
Im Interesse eines nachhaltigen Behandlungserfolgs empfiehlt es sich zudem, auch nach Abklingen der Krankheitszeichen die Behandlung mit dem Präparat noch 2-3 Tage fortzuführen.

Wenn Sie eine größere Menge eingenommen haben, als Sie sollten:
Vom Arzneimittel sollen pro Tag nicht mehr eingenommen werden, als in der Dosierungsanleitung angegeben oder vom Arzt verordnet wurde.
Die Einnahme von deutlich darüber hinausgehenden Mengen (mehr als die dreifache Tagesdosis) kann Übelkeit, Erbrechen und Durchfälle hervorrufen. In diesem Fall sollten Sie Ihren Arzt konsultieren.

Wenn Sie die Einnahme vergessen haben:
Nehmen Sie beim nächsten Mal nicht die doppelte Dosis ein, sondern setzen Sie die Einnahme wie vom Arzt verordnet oder in der Packungsbeilage beschrieben fort.
