Utipro® plus is intended for the control and prevention of urinary tract infections caused by pathogens such as E. coli and other gram-negative bacteria usually involved in the development of urological infections.
The preparation based on gelatine and xyloglucan (hemicellulose) works mechanically inside the intestine by preventing the pathogens from coming into contact with the intestinal mucosa – the first step to inhibit proliferation and the subsequent transmission to the urinary tract.
Utipro® plus is taken orally when the first symptoms of urinary tract symptoms appear to inhibit the proliferation of pathogens that could lead to infections. In the case of recurring urinary tract infections due to the proliferation of the pathogen, the product is also intended to prevent such episodes.
Application
Swallow 2 capsules daily with sufficient liquid.
Hints
The diagnosis of urinary tract disease must be made by a doctor. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, contact a doctor. You should not use the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless your doctor has recommended otherwise. Acute urinary tract infection may require antibiotic treatment. This product has neither bacteriocidal nor bacteriostatic properties and is therefore not a substitute for antibiotic treatment. However, Utipro® plus can be administered as an accompanying therapy.
