An integrated, anatomically profiled and individually shapeable aluminum plate secures the wrist. Stabilization of the main thumb joint and carpometacarpal joint of the thumb using an individually shaped thumb immobilizer. The orthosis prevents incorrect positioning of the distal and proximal parts of the wrist, such as the main joint of the thumb and the carpometacarpal joint of the thumb. During therapy, freedom of movement in the main joint of the thumb may be increased (dynamization) and the thumb immobilizer may be removed.
Breathable, moisture-absorbing and high-quality craftsmanship (seamless joints) ensures maximum comfort of wearing the orthosis. The wide Velcro straps help to open the stabilizing orthosis more easily, and at the same time make it easier to put on and take off.
