SwimCount, the sperm quality test (sperm quantity and motility) is a home medical device that measures the amount and motility of sperm in semen. The test measures the number of sperm in the semen that are able to move properly. The device has 2 chambers and only mobile sperm can flow from one chamber to the other. When it enters the second chamber, sperm stains, as does the result window. The more motile sperm cells there are, the more colored the result window is.

SwimCount, test jakości nasienia (ilość i ruchliwość plemników) to wyrób medyczny do użytku domowego, który pozwala na zmierzenie ilości oraz ruchliwości plemników w nasieniu. Test pozwala na dokonanie pomiaru ilości plemników w nasieniu, które są zdolne do prawidłowego poruszania. Urządzenie wyposażone jest w 2 komory i tylko ruchome plemniki są w stanie przepłynąć z jednej komory do drugiej. Po przejściu do drugiej komory plemniki zostają zabarwione, tak samo jak okienko wyników. Im więcej ruchliwych plemników, tym kolor okienka wyników zostaje mocniej zabarwiony.
