The active ingredient in the Silomat Pentoxyverine drops for dry cough & irritable cough 30 ml (pack size: 30 ml) is pentoxyverine, which is known as a cough suppressant (cough suppressant antitussive). The dry cough is calmed by this active ingredient for up to 6 hours.
The Mucosolvan products with the active ingredient Ambroxol are ideal for coughing up mucous.
dosage
For younger children (2 to 5 years old), the daily dose is 0.5 to 1 mg pentoxyverine per kg body weight. You can find more information on the package insert.
For children (6 to 13 years of age) the daily dose is 1 to 2 mg pentoxyverine per kg body weight. You can find more information on the package insert.
Adolescents aged 14 and over and adults should take 34 to 51 drops 3 to 4 times a day.
The dose depends heavily on body weight. For children under 14 years of age, the package insert should therefore be read carefully. Unless otherwise prescribed, the duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks.
Der Wirkstoff in den Silomat Pentoxyverin Tropfen bei trockenem Husten & Reizhusten 30 ml (Packungsgröße: 30 ml) ist Pentoxyverin, das als Hustenstiller (Hustenmittel Antitussivum) bekannt ist. Der Reizhusten wird durch diesen Wirkstoff bis zu 6 Stunden beruhigt.
Bei verschleimten Husten eignet sich die Mucosolvan Produkte mit dem Wirkstoff Ambroxol ideal.
Dosierung
Bei jüngeren Kindern (2 bis 5 Jahre) beträgt die Tagesdosis 0,5 bis 1 mg Pentoxyverin pro kg Körpergewicht. Nähere Angaben finden Sie im Beipackzettel.

Jugendliche ab 14 Jahren und Erwachsene sollten 3- bis 4-mal täglich je 34 bis 51 Tropfen einnehmen.
Die Dosis hängt stark vom Körpergewicht ab. Bei Kindern unter 14 Jahren sollte deshalb aufmerksam der Beipackzettel gelesen werden. Soweit nicht anders verordnet sollte die Anwendungsdauer nicht 2 Wochen überschreiten.
