Shoulder bandage – Omomed

Main features:

• elastic knit exerts a gentle local compressive effect on superficial soft tissues, which reduces (or prevents) swelling and reduces muscle tension
• decreased tone in the muscles surrounding the shoulder corrects postural deficits of the shoulder by accurately centering the humerus in the socket of the shoulder joint and relieving shoulder pain

Flexible clamping allows individual adjustment and the achievement of various ways to limit the movements of the shoulder joint. The highly elastic, breathable Clima-Comfort® knit, which wicks away moisture, corresponds to the anatomical shape of the upper arm and shoulder. Perfect handling of the straps allows comfortable wearing of ordinary clothes while fully maintaining the functionality of the bandage.

Indications: conservative and postoperative treatment of fractures of the proximal humeral head, scapula and glenoid fractures. Conservative treatment for painful omarthrosis. Postoperative therapy after application of a shoulder prosthesis. Conservative treatment for dislocation and chronic subluxation of the shoulder joint. Postoperative treatment after shoulder stabilization, rotator cuff reconstruction and biceps refixation (SLAP lesions).
