This herb, which grows to a height of 1-2 meters, can most often be found on the dry rocky slopes in Peru. It is known for its menthol taste and penetrating aroma. Thanks to its strong aroma, it was used as a pest repellent when storing vegetables. The mule was first described in the 18th century by Spanish chroniclers.
