Therapeutic indications
Pursennid Tablets are used in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
Dosage and posology
Pursennid Tablets 12 mg should be taken according to the following dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2-4 coated tablets per day.
Children between 10 and 12 years: 1-2 coated tablets per day.
After a short period of treatment without appreciable results, consult your doctor. The correct dose is the minimum sufficient to produce an easy evacuation of soft faeces. It is advisable to initially use the minimum doses provided. When necessary, the dose can then be increased, but without ever exceeding the maximum indicated.
Take preferably in the evening. Pursennid’s action manifests itself after 6-12 hours. Given in the evening, the effect of the drug appears the next morning. Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor’s prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case. Swallow with an adequate amount of water (a large glass). A diet rich in liquids favors the effect of the medicine.

Dosaggio e posologia
Pursennid Compresse 12 mg va assunto secondo la seguente posologia:
Adulti e bambini sopra i 12 anni di età: 2-4 compresse rivestite al giorno.
Bambini tra i 10 e i 12 anni: 1-2 compresse rivestite al giorno.
Dopo breve periodo di trattamento senza risultati apprezzabili consultare il medico. La dose corretta è quella minima sufficiente a produrre una facile evacuazione di feci molli. E’ consigliabile usare inizialmente le dosi minime previste. Quando necessario, la dose può essere poi aumentata, ma senza mai superare quella massima indicata.
Assumere preferibilmente la sera. L’azione di Pursennid si manifesta dopo 6-12 ore. Somministrato la sera, l’effetto del farmaco compare il mattino successivo. I lassativi devono essere usati il meno frequentemente possibile e per non più di sette giorni. L’uso per periodi di tempo maggiori richiede la prescrizione del medico dopo adeguata valutazione del singolo caso. Ingerire insieme ad una adeguata quantità di acqua (un bicchiere abbondante). Una dieta ricca di liquidi favorisce l’effetto del medicinale.
