- The green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) are from New Zealand. They are extremely rich in omega 3 providing them with extraordinary anti-inflammatory properties . Its inflammation-inhibiting power is 150 times greater than linseed or salmon oil.
This seafood also contains a significant amount of chondroitin sulfate. A compound naturally present in the cartilage to absorb shocks. With age, the production of chondroitin decreases, favoring the onset of osteoarthritis. A daily intake of Rhumatonat allows to bring solidity and elasticity to the joints. - The green mussel has a great wealth of vitamins and minerals: vitamin C, E, zinc, copper, manganese. These nutrients act synergistically on the body and on joint pain, protecting cartilage from oxidation and helping cells to regenerate.
- Green mussels are grown on ropes, suspended from buoys. It is only when they measure 8 cm, after a year of cultivation, that they can be harvested. This process extracts a liquid portion of the powder, which gives a very viscous orange oil.
