Herbal medicine for the therapy of acute swelling.

Phlogenzym® mono gastro-resistant tablets. Active ingredient: bromelain. Fields of application: For acute swelling after operations and injuries, especially the nose and sinuses.

In these cases, a doctor must be consulted immediately to decide on the measures to be taken.
Taking Phlogenzym® mono does not replace medical measures to treat injuries or treat wounds.
As a precautionary measure, this medicine should be discontinued as it can affect the blood’s ability to clot (see the information in the following section).
Symptoms in the gastrointestinal tract can often be avoided by strictly observing the recommended intake. Eat tablets whole with plenty of liquid at least 30 minutes before a meal or 90 minutes after a meal.

Taking Phlogenzym® mono with food and drink
Phlogenzym® mono should not be taken with food as this can lead to digestive problems and intolerance; Please take Phlogenzym® mono according to the recommendation (see chapter 3).

Children and adolescents
Due to insufficient studies, use in children under 12 years is not recommended.
