Therapeutic indications
Paxabel 4g is administered in the symptomatic treatment of constipation in children aged 6 months to 8 years. An organic disorder must be ruled out by the doctor before starting treatment, particularly in children under 2 years of age.
Paxabel 4 g should be considered as a temporary adjuvant treatment to be combined with a lifestyle and dietary regimen appropriate for constipation, with a maximum therapy course of 3 months. If symptoms persist despite associated dietary measures, pre-existing disease should be suspected and treated.
Dosage and posology
For oral use. Take following these directions:
From 6 months to 1 year: 1 sachet per day.
From 1 to 4 years: 1 – 2 sachets per day.
From 4 to 8 years: 2 – 4 sachets per day.
The contents of each sachet should be dissolved in approximately 50ml of water just before use. In case you have to take 1 sachet per day, take it in the morning. If you have to take more sachets, you will need to divide them between morning and evening. The effect of Paxabel occurs within 24-48 hours following its administration.
In children, treatment should not exceed 3 months as there is no clinical data on the use of the product for periods longer than 3 months. Treatment-induced intestinal motility regularization should be maintained with lifestyle and dietary measures. The daily dose should be adjusted according to the clinical effect obtained.

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Paxabel 4g si somministra nel trattamento sintomatico della stipsi nei bambini dai 6 mesi agli 8 anni. Un disordine organico deve essere escluso dal medico prima di iniziare il trattamento, in particolare nei bambini di età inferiore ai 2 anni.
Paxabel 4 g deve essere considerato un trattamento adiuvante temporaneo da associare ad uno stile di vita e regime dietetico appropriati per la stipsi, con un ciclo di terapia massimo di 3 mesi. Se la sintomatologia persiste nonostante le misure dietetiche associate, deve essere sospettata e trattata una patologia preesistente.
Dosaggio e posologia
Per uso orale. Assumere seguendo queste indicazioni:
Dai 6 mesi a 1 anno: 1 bustina al giomo.
Da 1 a 4 anni: 1 – 2 bustine al giomo.
Da 4 a 8 anni: 2 – 4 bustine al giomo.
Il contenuto di ogni bustina deve essere sciolto in circa 50 ml di acqua poco prima dell’uso. Nel caso si debba assumere 1 bustina al giomo, l’assunzione deve avvenire al mattino. Nel caso si debbano assumere più bustine, occorrerà suddividerle tra mattino e sera. L’effetto di Paxabel si manifesta nelle 24-48 ore successive la sua somministrazione.
Nei bambini il trattamento non deve superare i 3 mesi poichè mancano dati clinici sull’uso del prodotto per periodi superiori a 3 mesi. La regolarizzazione della motilità intestinale indotta dal trattamento va mantenuta con lo stile di vita e misure dietetiche. La dose giornaliera deve essere adattata in base all’effetto clinico ottenuto.
