Panadol Extra is a medicinal product with analgesic and antipyretic properties for use in pain of various origins, such as headache, migraine, toothache, and menstrual pain.
The active substances are: paracetamol (Paracetamolum) and caffeine (Coffeinum).
1 film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol and 65 mg of caffeine.
Excipients: pregelatinized starch, corn starch, povidone (K 25), potassium sorbate, talc, stearic acid, sodium croscarmellose; shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, triacetin.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Oral drug.
The drug should not be used for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Adults and people over 12 years of age: 1-2 tablets, up to 4 times a day. Do not use more than 8 tablets a day, individual doses not more frequently than every 4 hours.
Action
Panadol Extra contains paracetamol, which has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the CNS (central nervous system). Additionally, the caffeine contained in the drug enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol.

Substancjami czynnymi są: paracetamol (Paracetamolum) i kofeina (Coffeinum).
1 tabletka powlekana zawiera 500 mg paracetamolu i 65 mg kofeiny.
Substancje pomocnicze: skrobia żelowana, skrobia kukurydziana, powidon (K 25), potasu sorbinian, talk, kwas stearynowy, kroskarmeloza sodowa; otoczka: hydroksypropylometyloceluloza, triacetyna.
Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak opisano to w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Lek do stosowania doustnego.
Leku nie należy stosować dłużej niż 3 dni bez konsultacji z lekarzem.
Dorośli i osoby powyżej 12 lat: 1-2 tabletki, do 4 razy na dobę. Nie należy stosować więcej niż 8 tabletek na dobę, poszczególne dawki nie częściej niż co 4 godziny.
Działanie
Panadol Extra zawiera paracetamol, który wykazuje działanie przeciwbólowe i przeciwgorączkowe. Jego działanie opiera się na hamowaniu syntezy prostaglandyn w OUN (ośrodkowym układzie nerwowym). Dodatkowo kofeina zawarta w leku nasila działanie przeciwbólowe paracetamolu.
