indication
The nasal spray contains the active ingredients xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline constricts the blood vessels and causes the nasal mucosa to decongest. The additional active ingredient dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid, which promotes wound healing and protects the mucous membranes.
For the decongestion of the nasal mucous membrane in the event of a cold and for the supportive treatment of the healing of skin and mucous membrane damage (lesions), runny nose (rhinitis vasomotorica) and for the treatment of nasal breathing difficulties after surgical interventions on the nose.
For use in adults and children from 6 years of age.
If you don’t feel better or even worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.
Contraindication
The nasal spray must not be used
if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
if you have a dry runny nose (a chronic runny nose that causes dry inflammation of the lining of the nose with crusts).
if you have recently had neurosurgery (transsphenoidal hypophysectomy or other surgery that exposes the meninges).
in children under 6 years of age.
Indikation
Das Nasenspray enthält die Wirkstoffe Xylometazolinhydrochlorid und Dexpanthenol. Xylometazolin verengt die Gefäße und bewirkt dadurch eine Abschwellung der Nasenschleimhaut. Der zusätzlich enthaltene Wirkstoff Dexpanthenol ist ein Abkömmling des Vitamins Pantothensäure, das die Wundheilung fördert und die Schleimhäute schützt.
Zur Abschwellung der Nasenschleimhaut bei Schnupfen und zur unterstützenden Behandlung der Heilung von Haut- und Schleimhautschäden (Läsionen), anfallsweise auftretendem Fließschnupfen (Rhinitis vasomotorica) und zur Behandlung der Nasenatmungsbehinderung nach operativen Eingriffen an der Nase.
Zur Anwendung bei Erwachsenen und Kindern ab 6 Jahren.
Wenn Sie sich nach 7 Tagen nicht besser oder gar schlechter fühlen, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt.
Kontraindikation
Das Nasenspray darf nicht angewendet werden,
wenn Sie allergisch gegen Xylometazolinhydrochlorid oder Dexpanthenol oder einen der sonstigen Bestandteile dieses Arzneimittels sind.
wenn Sie an einem trockenen Schnupfen leiden (ein chronischer Schnupfen, der zu einer trockenen Entzündung der Nasenschleimhäute mit Borkenbildung führt).
wenn Sie sich vor kurzem einem neurochirurgischen Eingriff unterzogen haben (transsphenoidale Hypophysektomie oder andere operative Eingriffe, die die Hirnhaut freilegen).
bei Kindern unter 6 Jahren.
