Therapeutic indications
Nurofen Tablets 400 mg is used in the treatment of various kinds of pain: headache, toothache, neuralgia, muscle and bone pain, menstrual pain and as an adjunct in the symptomatic treatment of fever and flu. Nurofen is indicated in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Dosage and Posology
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Nurofen 400 mg coated tablets: Adolescents over 12 years and adults 1 tablet, 2-3 times a day. The interval between doses must not be less than 4 hours. Do not exceed the dose of 1200 mg (3 tablets) in 24 hours.
For the elderly, no modification of the dosage regimen is required. Do not administer to children under the age of 12. Only for a short period of treatment. Undesirable effects can be minimized by using the minimum effective dose for the shortest possible duration of treatment necessary to control symptoms.
If symptoms persist or worsen after a short period of treatment, consult your doctor. If the use of the medicine is necessary for more than 3 days in adolescents, or in the case of worsening of symptoms, the doctor must be consulted.
Oral use. Patients with gastric sensitivity problems are advised to take Nurofen on a full stomach.
Compresse rivestite a base di ibuprofene.
Indicazioni Terapeutiche
Nurofen Compresse 400 mg si usa nel trattamento di dolori di varia natura: mal di testa, mal di denti, nevralgie, dolori muscolari e osteoarticolari, dolori mestruali e come coadiuvante nel trattamento sintomatico degli stati febbrili ed influenzali. Nurofen è indicato negli adulti e negli adolescenti al di sopra dei 12 anni.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Prenda questo medicinale seguendo sempre esattamente quanto riportato in questo foglio o le istruzioni del medico, o del farmacista. Se ha dubbi consulti il medico o il farmacista.
La dose raccomandata è:
Nurofen 400 mg compresse rivestite: Adolescenti sopra i 12 anni e adulti 1 compressa, 2-3 volte al giorno. L’intervallo tra le dosi non deve essere inferiore alle 4 ore. Non superi la dose di 1200 mg (3 compresse) nelle 24 ore.
Per gli anziani non sono richieste modificazioni dello schema posologico. Non somministrare ai bambini di età inferiore ai 12 anni. Solo per un breve periodo di trattamento. Gli effetti indesiderati possono essere minimizzati con l’uso della dose minima efficace per la durata di trattamento più breve possibile necessaria per controllare i sintomi.
Se la sintomatologia persiste o peggiora dopo un breve periodo di trattamento, consultare il medico. Nel caso l’uso del medicinale sia necessario per più di 3 giorni negli adolescenti, o nel caso di peggioramento della sintomatologia deve essere consultato il medico.
Uso orale. Si consiglia ai pazienti con problemi di sensibilità gastrica di assumere Nurofen a stomaco pieno.
