This drug helps smokers to detoxify themselves from tobacco. The patch (patch) contains nicotine, the main active substance in tobacco; this crosses the skin, gains the blood and acts on the nervous system, thus allowing the smoker not to feel the symptoms due to the stopping of the tobacco.
It is used exclusively in nicotine-dependent smokers, that is, smokers who swallow the smoke and cannot do without smoking for more than a few hours.
CONTRAINDICATIONS (summary)
This medicine should not be used in the following cases:
non-smoker or occasional smoker,
extensive skin disease that does not allow the patch to stick.
Ce medicament aide les fumeurs a se desintoxiquer du tabac. Le dispositif transdermique (timbre) contient de la nicotine, principale substance active du tabac ; celle-ci traverse la peau, gagne le sang et agit sur le systeme nerveux, permettant ainsi au fumeur de ne pas ressentir les symptomes dus a l’arret du tabac.
Il est utilise exclusivement chez les fumeurs nicotino-dependants, c’est-a-dire qui avalent la fumee et ne peuvent se passer de fumer plus de quelques heures.
CONTRE-INDICATIONS (sommaire)
Ce medicament ne doit pas etre utilise dans les cas suivants :
non fumeur ou fumeur occasionnel,
maladie de peau etendue ne permettant pas de coller le timbre.
