Propolis (bee putty) is a bee product (a natural substance secreted by plants to protect their parts from the elements), which is used in natural medicine and contains 120 to 140 different plant substances. The taste of propolis is turpentine bitter, the aroma is pleasantly delicate – reminiscent of vanillin. Propolis contains resin, beeswax, tannins, essential oils, vitamin B1, PP, provitamin A, iron, aluminum, calcium, silicon, manganese and other substances.
