Clotrimazole, the active ingredient in the cream, penetrates the affected skin layers and attacks the fungus there. The result: the fungus dies or its growth is inhibited.
Mode of action
The active ingredient clotrimazole inhibits the growth and reproduction of fungal cells such as Sprout fungi (yeasts) as well as a number of other fungi and some bacteria.
Anwendungsgebiet
Diese können vorkommen z. B. in Form von:
Clotrimazol, der Wirkstoff der Creme dringt in die befallenen Hautschichten ein und greift dort den Pilz an. Die Folge: der Pilz stirbt ab oder wird in seinem Wachstum gehemmt.
Wirkungsweise
Der enthaltene Wirkstoff Clotrimazol hemmt das Wachstum und die Vermehrung von Pilzzellen wie z.B. Sprosspilzen (Hefen) sowie eine Reihe weiterer Pilze und einiger Bakterien.
