Micotef 2% Miconazole Skin Cream, 30g

Skin cream based on mycozanol.

Therapeutic indications
Micotef Cutaneous Cream is used in the treatment of skin and nail infections caused by dermatophytes and Candida. Due to its antibacterial activity on Gram-positive, Micotef Skin Cream can be used for the treatment of mycoses with superinfections sustained by these microorganisms.

Dosage and Posology
Micotef Crema should be taken in the following doses and methods:

In case of skin infections: apply 1 cm of cream on the lesion (or more depending on the extent of the lesion) 1-2 times a day, then spread with fingers.
In case of nail infections: cut the infected nails as short as possible. Apply a little cream 1-2 times a day on the infected nail, then spread with your fingers; cover the nail with a non-perforated occlusive dressing. Continue the treatment uninterrupted, even after the fall of the infected nail (mostly after 2-3 weeks), until its complete regrowth and the definitive healing of the lesions (usually after 2 months or more).

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Micotef Crema Cutanea si usa nel trattamento delle infezioni cutanee ed ungueali provocate da dermatofiti e da Candida. Per la sua attivita antibatterica sui Gram-positivi, Micotef Crema Cutanea puo essere utilizzato per il trattamento delle micosi con superinfezioni sostenute da tali microrganismi.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Micotef Crema va assunta nelle seguenti dosi e modalita:

In caso di infezioni cutanee: applicare sulla lesione 1 cm di crema (o piu a seconda della estensione della lesione) 1-2 volte al giorno, quindi spalmare con le dita.
In caso di infezioni ungueali: tagliare le unghie infette piu corte possibile. Applicare un po’ di crema 1-2 volte al giorno sull’unghia infetta, poi spalmare con le dita; ricoprire l’unghia con un bendaggio occlusivo non perforato. Continuare il trattamento ininterrottamente, anche dopo la caduta dell’unghia infetta (per lo piu dopo 2-3 settimane), fino alla sua completa ricrescita ed alla guarigione definitiva delle lesioni (in genere dopo 2 mesi o piu).
