Always take the medicine exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
Adolescents over 10-14 years of age receive 1 tablet twice a day (400 mg ethacridine lactate monohydrate).
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age take 1 tablet (600 mg ethacridine lactate monohydrate) 3 times on the 1st and 2nd day of illness. From the 3rd day of illness onwards, it can generally be reduced to 1 tablet twice a day (400 mg ethacridine lactate monohydrate).
In the case of more severe disease, the dose of 1 tablet 3 times a day (600 mg ethacridine lactate monohydrate) should be maintained for several days.
For prevention, we recommend taking 1 tablet (200 mg ethacridine lactate monohydrate) daily.

Duration of application
In general, in acute cases, 2-3 days of intake is sufficient to normalize bowel activity.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

If you take more medicine than you should
Symptoms of overdose after taking ethacridine lactate monohydrate are not known to have occurred in either adults or adolescents. Since the active ingredient is only absorbed by the body in minimal amounts, symptoms of overdose are not to be expected.

If you forget to take the medicine
At the next intake time, please do not take more than the recommended number of tablets, but continue taking as described in the dosage instructions.

If you stop taking the medicine
There are no special instructions to be observed.

Nehmen Sie das Arzneimittel immer genau nach der Anweisung ein. Bitte fragen Sie bei Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker nach, wenn Sie sich nicht ganz sicher sind.
Falls vom Arzt nicht anders verordnet, ist die ubliche Dosis:
Jugendliche uber 10-14 Jahre erhalten taglich 2-mal 1 Tablette (400 mg Ethacridinlactat-Monohydrat).
Erwachsene und Jugendliche uber 14 Jahre nehmen am 1. und 2. Krankheitstag jeweils 3-mal 1 Tablette (600 mg Ethacridinlactat-Monohydrat) ein. Ab dem 3. Krankheitstag kann im Allgemeinen auf taglich 2-mal 1 Tablette (400 mg Ethacridinlactat-Monohydrat) reduziert werden.
Bei schwereren Krankheitszustanden sollte die Dosis von taglich 3-mal 1 Tablette (600 mg Ethacridinlactat-Monohydrat) uber mehrere Tage beibehalten werden.
Zur Vorbeugung empfiehlt sich die Einnahme von taglich 1 Tablette (200 mg Ethacridinlactat-Monohydrat).

Dauer der Anwendung
Im Allgemeinen reicht bei akuten Fallen eine 2-3tagige Einnahme zur Normalisierung der Darmtatigkeit aus.
Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung von dem Arzneimittel zu stark oder zu schwach ist.

Wenn Sie eine gro?ere Menge von dem Arzneimittel eingenommen haben, als Sie sollten
Uberdosierungserscheinungen nach Einnahme von Ethacridinlactat-Monohydrat sind bisher weder bei Erwachsenen noch bei Jugendlichen bekannt. Da der Wirkstoff nur in minimalen Mengen vom Korper aufgenommen wird, sind Uberdosierungserscheinungen nicht zu erwarten.

Wenn Sie die Einnahme von dem Arzneimittel vergessen haben
Nehmen Sie bitte zum nachsten Einnahmezeitpunkt nicht mehr als die empfohlene Tablettenanzahl ein, sondern setzen Sie die Einnahme wie in der Dosierungsanleitung beschrieben fort.

Wenn Sie die Einnahme von dem Arzneimittel abbrechen
Es sind keine besonderen Hinweise zu beachten.
