INDICATIONS (summary)
This medicine contains an osmotic laxative (lactulose) and a lubricating laxative (paraffin oil). The osmotic laxative draws water into the intestine and increases the volume of the stool. The lubricating laxative works by softening the stools and making it easier for them to move through the bowel.
It is used in the symptomatic treatment of constipation in adults.
CONTRAINDICATIONS (summary)
This medicine should not be used in the following cases:
inflammatory colon disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease);
bowel obstruction or a condition predisposing to obstruction;
perforation of the intestine;
abdominal pain of unknown cause;
phenylketonuria (presence of aspartame).

Ce médicament contient un laxatif osmotique (lactulose) et un laxatif lubrifiant (huile de paraffine). Le laxatif osmotique attire l’eau dans l’intestin et augmente le volume des selles. Le laxatif lubrifiant agit en ramollissant les selles et en facilitant leur progression dans l’intestin.
Il est utilisé dans le traitement symptomatique de la constipation chez l’adulte.
CONTRE-INDICATIONS (sommaire)
Ce médicament ne doit pas être utilisé dans les cas suivants :
maladie inflammatoire du côlon (rectocolite hémorragique, maladie de Crohn) ;
occlusion intestinale ou affection prédisposant à une occlusion ;
perforation de l’intestin ;
douleurs abdominales de cause inconnue ;
phénylcétonurie (présence d’aspartam).
