Antifungal cream for topical use based on amorolfine hydrochloride.
Therapeutic indications
Locetar Crema is used in the treatment of dermatomycoses caused by dermatophytes: Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), Tinea cruris, Tinea inguinalis, Tinea corporis, Tinea manuum. Cutaneous candidiasis, Pityriasis versicolor.
Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods: apply once a day (in the evening) on the affected skin area. Treatment should be continued without interruption until complete recovery, then continued for several days. The duration of treatment depends on the species of the fungus and the location of the infection. In general, treatment should be continued for at least two to three weeks. Treatment of six weeks or more may be needed for foot fungus. Locetar 0.25% Cream is colorless and does not stain after absorption or drying.

Locetar Crema si usa nel trattamento delle dermatomicosi causate da dermatofiti: Tinea pedis (piede d’atleta), Tinea cruris, Tinea inguinalis, Tinea corporis, Tinea manuum. Candidosi cutanee, Pityriasis versicolor.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalita: applicare una volta al giorno (alla sera) sulla zona cutanea interessata. Il trattamento deve essere continuato senza interruzioni fino alla guarigione completa, proseguendo poi per diversi giorni. La durata del trattamento dipende dalla specie del fungo e dalla localizzazione dell’infezione. In generale il trattamento dovrebbe essere protratto per almeno due o tre settimane. Per le micosi ai piedi possono essere necessarie terapie di sei settimane e piu. Locetar 0,25% Crema e incolore e, dopo assorbimento o dopo essiccazione, non macchia.
