LEGAPAS (pack size: 45 ml) is a herbal stimulant laxative.

Mode of action
The ingredients come from the European buckthorn and the American buckthorn.
The main ingredients are sugar-bound anthranoids (glucofrangulins or cascarosides)> br /> The plant parts and preparations used are dried bark or extracts thereof.
These anthranoids have a good laxative effect because they stimulate the colon. In addition, they inhibit the recovery of water and salts from the intestine, so that the increase in volume causes the intestinal wall to stretch more and emptying can occur earlier and more easily.

Wirkungsweise
Die Inhaltsstoffe entstammen aus dem europäischen Faulbaum und dem amerikanischen Faulbaum.
Der hauptsächliche Inhaltsstoff sind an Zucker gebundene Anthranoide (Glucofranguline bzw. Cascaroside)>br/> Die verwendete Pflanzenteile und Zubereitungen sind getrocknete Rinde bzw. Extrakte davon.
Diese Anthranoide wirken gut abführend da sie den Dickdarm stimulieren. Zusätzlcih hemmen sie die Rückgewinnung von Wasser und Salzen aus dem Darm, so dass durch die Volumenzunahme die Darmwand stärker gedehnt wird und eine Entleerung früher und leichter eintreten kann.
