Collector’s Lexicon – Historical ammunition weapons, Sberatelsky lexikon – Historicke nabojove zbrane

Weapons have always been, are and probably will be a source of controversy and conflicting views. That is why it is necessary today to talk and write about weapons and everything around them. This is also the basic purpose of this lexicon, which contains 333 separate entries from the field of weapons design, their history, terminology used and legislative context. In addition to technical parameters and terms, the lexicon also describes the historical context of the origin and role of individual weapons and their involvement in famous battles. Today, all our esteemed weapon designers and riflemen deserve our respect, admiration and sincere thanks. So do today’s collectors for their care for historical weapons and their efforts to preserve these gems for future generations. The author wishes all colleagues in the weapon a lot of collecting success, well-being, patience and intransigence in protecting the right of a free person to own a weapon.

Zbrane vzdy byly, jsou a patrne i budou zdrojem rozporu a protichudnych nazoru. Prave proto je dnes nutne o zbranich a o vsem kolem nich hovo­rit a psat. To je take zakladni ucel tohoto lexikonu, ktery obsahuje 333 samostatnych hesel z oblasti konstrukce zbrani, jejich historie, pouzivane terminologie a legislativnich souvislosti. V lexikonu je vedle technickych parametru a terminu v hojne mire priblizen i historicky kontext vzniku a ulohy jednotlivych zbrani a jejich angazma ve slavnych bitvach. Vsem davnym zbranovym konstrukterum a puskarum dnes patri nase ucta, obdiv a uprimne podekovani. Prave tak i dnesnim sberatelum za jejich peci o historicke zbrane a snahu o zachovani techto skvostu pro budouci gene­race. Autor preje vsem kolegum ve zbrani hodne sberatelskych uspechu, zivotni pohodu, trpelivost a neustupnost pri ochrane prava svobodneho cloveka vlastnit zbran.
