Use

JOX can always be given to children from 6 to 12 years of age only on the recommendation of a doctor
Oral spray can be used by children over 8 years of age as well as adolescents and adults

Medicinal substances
Povidone iodinate 85 mg, allantoin 1 mg in 1 ml
The main active substance is iodinated povidone: This substance releases iodine on contact with the skin and mucous membranes, which destroys many germs (bacteria, fungi, some viruses) and therefore JOX is suitable for disinfecting the oral cavity and pharynx, JOX contains allantoin, which has an anti-inflammatory effect

Užití
JOX se používá jako doplňková léčba při zánětlivých a infekčních onemocněních v dutině ústní a hltanu – angína, zánět hltanu, zánět mandlí, současný zánět hltanu a mandlí, zánět jazyka a afty, při chirurgických výkonech v dýchacích a polykacích cestách, při prvních příznacích chřipkových onemocnění (škrábání v krku) a k předcházení infekcí v dutině ústní u pacientů léčených cytostatiky a po ozáření
Dále se používá u angín, vyvolaných streptokoky, a to jako podpůrná léčba při současné léčbě antibiotiky

Dětem od 6 do 12 let je vždy možno JOX podávat pouze na doporučení lékaře
Orální sprej mohou používat děti starší 8 let i mladiství a dospělí

Léčivé látky
Povidonum iodinatum 85 mg, allantoinum 1 mg v 1 ml přípravku
Hlavní léčivou látkou je jodovaný povidon: Tato látka uvolňuje při kontaktu s kůží a se sliznicemi jód, který ničí řadu choroboplodných zárodků (baktérie, plísně, některé viry) a proto je JOX vhodný k dezinfekci dutiny ústní a hltanu, dále JOX obsahuje allantoin, který působí protizánětlivě
