Iwonicka Iwonicka salt is a medicinal product for use on the skin, incl. in order to strengthen bactericidal and immune processes and support the resorption of inflammatory foci.
The active substances are: chloride ions (Natrii chloridum), bromide ions (Natrii bromidum), iodide ions (Natrii iodidum).
1 kg of salt contains approximately 450 g of chloride ions, 1.2 g of bromide ions and 0.33 g of iodide ions.
Dosage

Salt dissolves easily in cold and warm water.
For baths, compresses – 0.5-3% solution, i.e. 0.5-3 kg per 100 liters of water, water temperature 37-39 ° C, bath time 15-30 minutes. Baths can be used daily or every other day. 15 to 20 baths are required for one treatment cycle. A break of 2-3 months is required between treatments.
For inhalation – 0.5-1% solution, i.e. 5-10 g of salt per 1 liter of water at a temperature of 37-39 ° C. Inhalations through the nose or mouth are used daily – 15-20 sessions are required for one treatment. The treatments, depending on the doctor’s indications, may be repeated many times, after breaks of 14-30 days.
