Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
The gel is used 3 times a day. Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, a 4 – 10 cm long gel strand corresponding to 2 – 5 g gel (100 – 250 mg ibuprofen) is required.
The maximum total daily dose is 15 g gel corresponding to 750 mg ibuprofen.
Duration of application
The practicing doctor will decide about the length of the treatments. As a rule, an application over 2 – 3 weeks is sufficient. The therapeutic benefit of application beyond this period has not been proven.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.
If you use more than you should
If the recommended dosage is exceeded when applied to the skin, the gel should be removed and washed off with water. If the drug is used in excessively large amounts or if the drug is accidentally taken, the doctor should be notified.
A specific antidote (antidote) does not exist.

Uber die Dauer der Behandlung entscheidet der behandelnde Arzt. In der Regel ist eine Anwendung uber 2 – 3 Wochen ausreichend. Der therapeutische Nutzen einer Anwendung uber diesen Zeitraum hinaus ist nicht belegt.
Bitte sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt oder Apotheker, wenn Sie den Eindruck haben, dass die Wirkung des Arzneimittels zu stark oder zu schwach ist.
Wenn Sie eine gro?ere Menge angewendet haben, als Sie sollten
Bei Uberschreitung der empfohlenen Dosierung bei der Anwendung auf der Haut sollte das Gel wieder entfernt und mit Wasser abgewaschen werden. Bei Anwendung von wesentlich zu gro?en Mengen oder versehentlicher Einnahme des Arzneimittels ist der Arzt zu benachrichtigen.
Ein spezifisches Antidot (Gegenmittel) existiert nicht.
