Therapeutic indications
Guttalax Drops is used in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
Dosage and posology
Guttalax Drops should be taken in the following doses and methods:
Adults: in adults it is recommended to start with 7-8 drops in water per day and decrease if the effect is excessive or increase if the laxative effect is not achieved. In cases of stubborn constipation, up to 15-20 drops in water can be reached.
In children (over 3 years): 2-3 drops in water per day.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. It is advisable to initially use the minimum doses provided. The correct dose is the minimum sufficient to produce an easy evacuation of soft faeces. When necessary, the dose can then be increased, but without ever exceeding the maximum indicated.
Guttalax should preferably be taken in the evening to provoke evacuation the following morning. Swallow with an adequate amount of water. A diet rich in liquids favors the effect of the medicine.
Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor’s prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case.

Dosaggio e posologia
Guttalax Gocce va assunta nelle seguenti dosi e modalità:
Adulti: negli adulti si consiglia di iniziare con 7-8 gocce in acqua al giorno e di diminuire se l’effetto è eccessivo o di aumentare se l’effetto lassativo non è raggiunto. Nei casi di stitichezza ostinata si può arrivare fino a 15-20 gocce in acqua.
Nei bambini (al di sopra dei 3 anni): 2-3 gocce in acqua al giorno.
Non superare le dosi consigliate. È consigliabile usare inizialmente le dosi minime previste. La dose corretta è quella minima sufficiente a produrre una facile evacuazione di feci molli. Quando necessario, la dose può essere poi aumentata, ma senza mai superare quella massima indicata.
Guttalax dovrebbe essere assunto preferibilmente la sera per provocare l’evacuazione al mattino seguente. Ingerire insieme ad una adeguata quantità di acqua. Una dieta ricca di liquidi favorisce l’effetto del medicinale.
I lassativi devono essere usati il meno frequentemente possibile e per non più di sette giorni. L’uso per periodi di tempo maggiori richiede la prescrizione del medico dopo adeguata valutazione del singolo caso.
