Therapeutic indications
Guttalax Soft Capsules is used in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation.
Dosage and Posology
Guttalax Soft Capsules should be taken in the following doses and methods. In children between 4 and 10 years: 1 soft capsule per day (2.5 mg) and in adults and children over 10 years: 2-3 soft capsules per day (5-7.5 mg).
The soft capsules should preferably be taken in the evening to evacuate the next morning. The soft capsules should be swallowed together with an adequate amount of water (a large glass). A diet rich in liquids favors the effect of the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended dose. The correct dose is the minimum sufficient to produce an easy evacuation of soft faeces. It is advisable to initially use the minimum doses provided.
When necessary, the dose can then be increased, but without ever exceeding the maximum indicated. Laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. Use for longer periods of time requires a doctor’s prescription after adequate evaluation of the individual case.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Guttalax Capsule Molli va assunta nelle seguenti dosi e modalità. Nei bambini tra i 4 ed i 10 anni: 1 capsula molle al giorno (2,5 mg) e nelgli adulti e bambini al di sopra dei 10 anni: 2-3 capsule molli al giorno (5-7,5 mg).
Le capsule molli devono essere assunte preferibilmente la sera per provocare evacuazione al mattino seguente. Le capsule molli devono essere ingerite insieme ad una adeguata quantità di acqua (un bicchiere abbondante). Una dieta ricca di liquidi favorisce l’effetto del medicinale. Non superare le dosi consigliate. La dose corretta è quella minima sufficiente a produrre una facile evacuazione di feci molli. È consigliabile usare inizialmente le dosi minime previste.
Quando necessario, la dose può essere poi aumentata, ma senza mai superare quella massima indicata. I lassativi devono essere usati il meno frequentemente possibile e per non più di sette giorni. L’uso per periodi di tempo maggiori richiede la prescrizione del medico dopo adeguata valutazione del singolo caso.
