Improved moistening of the surface of the eye in case of environmental disorders such as dry eyes, sensation of foreign bodies or burning of the eyes, as well as after surgery on the eye. If the eyes itch, burn, tire quickly and you have the feeling that you have sand in your eyes, the cause may be insufficient moisture on the surface of the eye. For example, if you stay in air-conditioned rooms for a long time or if you are working intensively on a screen, the natural tear film tears up more quickly. In order to keep the tissues of the eye fully functional, however, they must be constantly moistened by the tear film. Surgical interventions on the eye or after injuries to the eye can reduce the body’s own tear secretion. However, the regeneration of the superficial tissues of the eye requires constant and adequate humidification. By using the drug, the cornea and conjunctiva are supplied with moisture for a long time, so that the physiological healing processes can run optimally.
Anwendungsgebiete
Das Medikament wird angewendet zur
verbesserten Befeuchtung der Augenoberflache bei umgebungsbedingten Befindlichkeitsstorungen wie trockene Augen, Fremdkorpergefuhl oder Brennen der Augen, sowie nach operativen Eingriffen am Auge. Wenn die Augen jucken, brennen, rasch ermuden und man das Gefuhl hat, Sand in den Augen zu haben, kann als Ursache dafur eine mangelhafte Befeuchtung der Augenoberflache infrage kommen. Zum Beispiel bei langerem Aufenthalt in klimatisierten Raumen oder intensiver Bildschirmtatigkeit rei?t der naturliche Tranenfilm schneller auf. Um die Gewebe des Auges voll funktionsfahig zu erhalten, mussen sie jedoch standig vom Tranenfilm befeuchtet werden. Durch operative Eingriffe am Auge oder nach Verletzungen am Auge kann die korpereigene Tranensekretion reduziert sein. Die Regeneration der oberflachlichen Gewebe des Auges erfordert jedoch eine standige ausreichende Befeuchtung. Durch die Anwendung des Medikaments werden Hornhaut und Bindehaut lang anhaltend mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt, sodass die physiologischen Heilungsprozesse optimal ablaufen konnen.
