Forlax 10 g is a medicine in the form of a powder for the preparation of an oral solution, which is used during symptomatic treatment as a laxative. The active substance is macrogol 4000 and it can be used in adults and children over 8 years of age.
The active substance is macrogol 4000 (Macrogolum 4000).
Each sachet contains 10 g of macrogol 4000.
Excipients: sodium saccharin (E954), orange-grapefruit flavor [oils: orange and grapefruit, concentrated orange juice, citral, acetic aldehyde, linalool, ethyl butyrate, alfaterpineol, octanal, beta-gamma-hexenol, maltodextrin, gum arabic, sorbitol , butylated hydroxyanisole (E320) and sulfur dioxide (E220)].
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Recommended dosage:
Children over 8 years of age and adults: one or two sachets a day, preferably taken as one dose in the morning.
The daily dose depends on the effect obtained and ranges from one sachet every other day (especially in children) to a maximum of two sachets a day.
Preparation of the solution: immediately before consumption, dissolve the contents of the sachet in a glass of water (at least 50 ml), and then drink it.
The effect of Forlax 10 g appears within 24-48 hours after administration.
In children, the period of use of the drug should not exceed 3 months.
Forlax 10 g should be only a temporary auxiliary treatment in addition to the treatment of constipation with an appropriate lifestyle and diet. If symptoms persist despite dieting, the cause should be determined and appropriate treatment instituted.

Dawkowanie
Ten lek należy zawsze stosować dokładnie tak, jak to opisano w ulotce dla pacjenta lub według zaleceń lekarza lub farmaceuty. W razie wątpliwości należy zwrócić się do lekarza lub farmaceuty.
Zalecane dawkowanie:
Dzieci powyżej 8 lat i dorośli: jedna – dwie saszetki na dobę, przyjmowane najlepiej w postaci jednej dawki rano.
Dawka dobowa zależy od uzyskanego efektu i wynosi od jednej saszetki co drugi dzień (szczególnie u dzieci) do maksymalnie dwóch saszetek na dobę.
Przygotowanie roztworu: bezpośrednio przed spożyciem należy rozpuścić zawartość saszetki w szklance wody (przynajmniej w 50 ml), a następnie wypić.
Działanie Forlax 10 g pojawia się w ciągu 24-48 godzin po podaniu.
U dzieci okres stosowania leku nie powinien przekraczać 3 miesięcy.
Forlax 10 g powinien stanowić jedynie tymczasowe leczenie pomocnicze dodatkowo do leczenia zaparcia odpowiednim trybem życia i dietą. Jeżeli pomimo zastosowania diety objawy utrzymują się, należy ustalić przyczynę i wdrożyć odpowiednie leczenie.
