Rectal solution based on disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate and disodium phosphate dodecahydrate.
Therapeutic indications
Fleet enema is used in the short-term treatment of occasional constipation in adults and children over 3 years of age; intestinal emptying before and after surgery, in obstetrics, in preparation for radioscopic examinations and endoscopic investigations of the last intestinal tract.
Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 bottle (118 ml delivered dose) no more than once a day or as directed by the doctor
Children 3 years of age and under 12 years: Dose halved no more than once a day or as directed by the doctor.
Fleet enema is contraindicated in children less than 3 years of age (see section 4.3). In occasional constipation, laxatives should be used as infrequently as possible and for no more than seven days. The use of longer periods of time requires a doctor’s prescription after adequate evaluation of the case. Do not administer to patients with clinically significant renal impairment. The product should be used with caution in patients with abnormal renal function when the clinical benefit is expected to outweigh the risk of hyperphosphataemia.
For rectal use only: Lie on your left side with both knees bent, arms at rest. Remove the orange protective shield. With steady pressure, gently insert Comfortip of the enema into the anus with the cannula pointing towards the navel. Squeeze the bottle until almost all liquid is expelled. Discontinue use if resistance is encountered. Forcing the enema can cause injury.
2 to 5 minutes are enough to achieve the desired effect. For occasional constipation, rectal enemas are used to provide relief and only in the short term.

Indicazioni terapeutiche
Clisma Fleet si usa nel trattamento a breve termine della stipsi occasionale negli adulti e nei bambini di età superiore ai 3 anni; svuotamento intestinale pre e post operatorio, in ostetricia, in preparazione ad esami radioscopici ed indagini endoscopiche dell’ultimo tratto intestinale.
Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità:
Adultie bambini di età superiore ai 12 anni : 1 flacone (118 ml dose erogata) non più di una volta al giorno o secondo istruzioni del medico
Bambini di 3 anni di età e minori di 12 anni: Dose dimezzata non più di una volta al giorno o secondo istruzioni del medico.
Clisma Fleet è controindicato nei bambini di età inferiore ai 3 anni (vedere paragrafo 4.3). Nella stipsi occasionale i lassativi devono essere usati il meno frequentemente possibile e per non più di sette giorni. L’uso di periodi di tempo maggiori richiede la prescrizione del medico dopo adeguata valutazione del caso. Non somministrare a pazienti con disturbo clinicamente significativo della funzionalità renale. Il prodotto deve essere usato con cautela nei pazienti con funzionalità renale anomala quando il beneficio clinico si preveda superiore al rischio di iperfosfatemia.
Per solo uso rettale: Sdraiarsi sul fianco sinistro con entrambe le ginocchia piegate, le braccia a riposo. Rimuovere lo scudo protettore arancione. Con una pressione costante, inserire delicatamente Comfortip del clistere nell’ano con la cannula rivolta verso l’ombelico. Premere il flacone finché il liquido sia quasi tutto espulso. Interrompere l’uso se si incontra resistenza. Forzare il clistere può provocare ferite.
Sono sufficienti da 2 a 5 minuti per ottenere l’effetto desiderato. Per la stipsi occasionale i clisteri rettali si utilizzano per fornire sollievo e unicamente a breve termine.
