The medicine contains the active substance esomeprazole. It belongs to a group of medicines called “proton pump inhibitors.” These work by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces.
This medicine is used for the short-term treatment of symptoms of reflux (e.g. heartburn and acid regurgitation) in adults.
Reflux is the reflux of acid from the stomach into the esophagus (the connection between the throat and the stomach), which can cause inflammation and pain. This can cause symptoms such as B. cause a painful sensation in the chest that rises into the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
Esomeprazole is not intended for immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2 to 3 consecutive days before you feel better. If you don’t feel better or even worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.
Das Arzneimittel enthalt einen Wirkstoff Esomeprazol. Es gehort zur Gruppe der so genannten „Protonenpumpenhemmer”. Diese wirken, indem sie die Sauremenge, die Ihr Magen produziert, verringern.
Dieses Arzneimittel wird zur Kurzzeitbehandlung von Refluxsymptomen (z. B. Sodbrennen und saurem Aufsto?en) bei Erwachsenen angewendet.
Reflux ist der Ruckfluss von Saure aus dem Magen in die Speiserohre (die Verbindung zwischen Rachen und Magen), wodurch es zu Entzundungen und Schmerzen kommen kann. Dies kann Symptome, wie z. B. ein schmerzhaftes Gefuhl im Brustkorb, welches in die Kehle aufsteigt (Sodbrennen) und einen sauren Geschmack im Mund (saures Aufsto?en), verursachen.
Esomeprazol ist nicht zur sofortigen Linderung bestimmt. Es kann erforderlich sein, die Tabletten an 2 bis 3 aufeinander folgenden Tagen einzunehmen, bevor Sie sich besser fuhlen. Wenn Sie sich nach 14 Tagen nicht besser oder gar schlechter fuhlen, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt.
