The active ingredient, hydrocortisone acetate (HCA), is a synthetically produced hormone from the adrenal cortex, a so-called glucocorticoid. It is contained in the cream in a proportion of 0.25%. Ebenol HCA 0.25% (pack size: 25 g) contains alcohol. It is used to treat very mild inflammatory or allergic skin diseases for which low-concentration, weakly effective, topically applied glucocorticoids are indicated.

Der Wirkstoff, Hydrocortison-Acetat (HCA), ist ein synthetisch hergestelltes Hormon aus der Nebennierenrinde, ein sogenanntes Glucocorticoid. Er ist zu einem Anteil von 0,25 % in der Creme enthalten. Ebenol HCA 0,25% (Packungsgro?e: 25 g) alkoholhaltig. Sie wird angewendet zur Behandlung sehr schwach ausgepragter entzundlicher oder allergischer Hautkrankheiten, bei denen niedrig konzentrierte, schwach wirksame, topisch anzuwendende Glucocorticoide angezeigt sind.
