All Spitzner sauna infusions bear the special seal of quality from the German Sauna Association. This means that all products are checked by an independent institute with regard to the naturalness of the raw materials, production according to GMP guidelines, complete declaration of ingredients and clear storage and dosage instructions.

Origin and history:

Whiskey is a spirit that is made from water and grain in a distillation process and then matures in wooden barrels. The quality and composition of the water, the processing of the grain, the numerous variations of the distillation process and the types of barrels as well as the maturation time spent in them determine the taste of the whiskey. Whiskey was probably invented in Ireland, although the first written sources are Scottish and go back to a monk who made whiskey. The actual origin is disputed – it has not been determined to this day. It is therefore no coincidence that two different spellings have been established. The version without an e is primarily used in Scotland, the version with an e in Ireland. The most important type of whiskey is malt whiskey; for many whiskey fans, this is the supreme discipline. Other classics are Scotch and, from the USA, Bourbon. By the way, real connoisseurs don’t put ice cubes in their whiskey because they know that chilled whiskey cannot fully develop its flavor.
