Capsules based on Loperamide hydrochloride.
Therapeutic indications
Diarstop is used in the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea.
Dosage and Posology
The drug should be taken according to the following doses and methods: in adults, the recommended starting dose is 2 capsules to be taken at the same time, one after the other. Following the initial dose, take 1 capsule after each soft (unformed) stool evacuation. Maximum daily dose is 8 capsules. The capsules should not be chewed, but swallowed with a little water or other beverage. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Warning: do not use for more than two days. After this period without appreciable results, stop the treatment and consult your doctor. Decrease the dose as stool normalizes and discontinue treatment in case of constipation.

Dosaggio e Posologia
Il farmaco va assunto secondo le seguenti dosi e modalità: negli adulti la dose iniziale raccomandata è 2 capsule da assumere nello stesso momento, una dopo l’altra. In seguito alla dose iniziale assumere 1 capsula dopo ogni evacuazione di feci molli (non formate). Dose massima giornaliera è di 8 capsule. Le capsule non devono essere masticate, ma deglutite con poca acqua o altra bevanda. Non superare le dosi consigliate. Attenzione: non usare per più di due giorni. Trascorso questo periodo senza risultati apprezzabili, interrompere il trattamento e consultare il medico. Diminuire la dose man mano che si normalizzano le feci e interrompere il trattamento in caso di stipsi.
