SynActifs D3 Protect is an oral solution based on vegetable vitamin D3.
The Vitamin D3 activates the immune system . It will promote the expression of macrophages and monocytes, which play a key role in the response to pathogenic organisms. This role consists of encompassing and destroying viruses or bacteria and then eliminating or assimilating them.
A deficiency of vitamin D3 is associated with an increased risk of viral infections , but can also be a risk factor for tuberculosis. This deficiency, more frequent during the winter, could contribute to the seasonal nature of influenza infections .
